IRON NEST Shell Guide

The right shell is a decision about certainty, target type, and what's nearby — not the highest damage number.

SMK — Smoke

Best for: Screen friendly withdrawal

Role: Support

Covers friendlies and repositioning missions. Blinds enemy observers.

B

B-Tier (Recon / Special)

TEAR (Gas)

Best for: Expose hidden positions

Role: Recon

Reveals concealed targets before a destructive follow-up. Tear first, read, then buy.

HCHE — Heavy Chemical

Best for: Clustered soft targets

Role: Area suppression

Soft targets in a wide area. Great when several spots fit inside one effect zone.

How to Choose a Shell

Ask: how certain is the target? What type of target is it? What is close to it? What does the order require? Am I destroying, revealing, illuminating, or repositioning?
